| Der Hort in holländischen Gefilden. Am 15. November 2008 werden auf der in Amsterdam die Leidenschaft für Papier und Druck sowie kreative Gestaltungen aus Papier in den Mittelpunkt gerückt. Diesjähriges Motto: "Covers By Artists" – Grafik-Design für Platten und CD-Cover. Hort zeigt hier, neben Sprechern wie und inspirierende Beispiele aus dem Bereich der Covergestaltung. On November 15th 2008, the conference in Amsterdam is focussing on the passion for paper and printing as well as creative designs made out of paper. This year’s motto is "Covers By Artists" – graphic design for record sleeves and CD covers. Hort will show inspiring examples from its cover design collection. | Die Wander-Ausstellung "Dimensionen der Fläche - Kommunikationsdesign in Deutschland", die vom Rat für Formgebung und dem Goethe-Institut veranstaltet wird und in der auch der HORT vertreten ist, tourt weiter und ist vom 4. bis 17. November 2008 in Kyoto/Japan. Mehr dazu unter Goethe Institut. | Am 21. Mai 2008 wird die Ausstellung "VERTRAUTES TERRAIN - AKTUELLE KUNST IN & ÜBER DEUTSCHLAND" im Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnolgie (ZKM) Karlsruhe eröffnet. Und HORT ist - neben Vier5, eboy, Pixelgarten und vielen mehr - ein Teil davon. Die Ausstellung läuft vom 22. Mai bis 21. September 2008. Bitte unbedingt anschauen! | Der HORT kommt gerade aus Dublin zurück. Wir waren dort auf Einladung von SWEET TALK. Es war wunderbar herzlich dank Aidan und Richard und all den anderen. Und wir haben BEN DRURY kennengelernt. Und nach 15 Jahren hat nun endlich Eikes alte HOCHSCHULE zum Vortrag gebeten. Am 29.04.2008 in Darmstadt auf der Mathildenhöhe um HALB5. Zurück zum Anfang. (N E U I G K E I T E N ) √ | We've just arrived back from our lovely trip to Dublin. We were invited to do a speech at SWEET TALK. We loved it - thanks to Aidan & Richard and everybody who came and watched. We also had the chance to meet the wonderful BEN DRURY. And now after 15 years, Eike's old UNIVERSITY has invited us to hold a speech on the 29th April at HALB5. Back to the future. (N E W S ) √ | |

| Neben den Vorlesungen und Workshops für die Studenten der FH Mainz im Rahmen der Vertretungs- professur wollten wir auch die Youngsters der FH unterstützen und haben sie zu einem Workshop in den HORT nach Berlin eingeladen.
